How to remove Clear Coat

This is a clear coated wheel.

Notice the damage to the clear coat. It must now be stripped. | 
Test for clear coat using Busch Aluminum Polish.

There is no black residue, so it DOES have clear coat.
| 
Here is all that is needed to strip clear coat. Busch Clear Coat Remover, a paint brush, and a water hose. | 
Pour product onto paintbrush. It is in gel form. |

Dab product onto wheel. | 
Continue application. | 
Application finished. | 
Clearcoat is lifting up off the surface. | 
A closer look. | 
Almost done. | 
Ready to rinse. | 
Rinsing. | 
Notice a little leftover clear coat. | 
Close up. | 
Pour more product on the brush. | 
Reapply product as needed. | 
Left over clear coat is lifting off the surface. | 
Rinse thoroughly. | 
Rinsing finished. |
