How to remove Clear Coat

This is a clear coated wheel.

Notice the damage to the clear coat. It must now be stripped.

Test for clear coat using Busch Aluminum Polish.

There is no black residue, so it DOES have clear coat.

Here is all that is needed to strip clear coat. Busch Clear Coat Remover, a paint brush, and a water hose.

Pour product onto paintbrush. It is in gel form.

Dab product onto wheel.

Continue application.

Application finished.

Clearcoat is lifting up off the surface.

Pour more product on the brush.

Reapply product as needed.
